Kampung Warna Warni = Colorful Village
Kampung Warna Warni, a name that literally means "Colorful Village," has recently become a new tourist attraction in Malang, known as "The Most Colorful Village in the World."
Originally, it was just an ordinary village, but through a government-supported project aimed at improving security in low-income areas and promoting tourism, it was literally painted "colorful." As a result, many tourists began to visit for the purpose of taking selfies, and the village gained fame as a new tourist spot. Approximately 240 buildings (as of October 2017) have been painted in vibrant colors, and based on the success of the project, the number is expected to increase even further in the future.
